: : Considerin' it's the red-haired lass's first Fourth of July in Mohicanland, I've put on me best cotton lace-up wench blouse and summer plaid and am havin' a wee drop in this afternoon at my new cottage. Uncle Fergus in Edinburgh sent me a birthday package of l2-year old Glenlivet and I'm willin' to share it with whoever drops by...be ye on the way to the fireworks or to the Yengeese woman's house, it don't matter. Anybody showin' up wearin' a kilt or a loincloth might also get a special gift...

: Psssssst! Goody Tewshoes...have ye seen that Red-haired lass that's been hangin' about lately? I don't know where she came from, but I can tell just by the look of 'er in 'er low-cut Wench's Blouse that she's no better than she oughtta be! Haruuumph! Struttin' around here bold as brass an' invitin' up every Tom, Dick & Magua who passes by to have a wee nip with her! She'll come to no good around here if she doesn't mind her ways, sartain!
: Pssssst...Sassy Soothsayer...have ye seen that Red-haired lass who's been hangin' about lately?......
Well, sad I am to be hearin' unpleasant things about a poor lass' first attempt at showin' hospitality! Why, I would never cast a wayward eye at Mr. Magua. I've heard he belongs to Ms. Ros and I'd never be disrespectin' her! However, if any lonely Toms, Dicks or especially Nathaniels should be out wanderin' beneath the stars on this glorious Fourth, it would necessarily behoove both me Scottish upbringing and my Carolina hospitality to offer him a wee dram. I'd hoped that nice Hawkeye who'd helped me with my back problems earlier this month would show up...but someone said Doc Mary had him "otherwise employed" this evening. Now who would make a nice man like that work on the Fourth??? Anyway, Miss Marcia and Sheriff Twigg, I do hope you'll drop by soon. Not only do I have the Glenlivet ,I've also whipped up a fresh haggis and some Scottish shortbread!
