It has been said that in the book, or in the script, Hawkeye had cut a lock of her hair to take with him, but it got cut out of the movie. Magua then comes in and immediately notices her hair cut and we assume figures out how and why. At least, and explanation something like that was once posted on the board some time ago (two years?) with the tital "What's with the hair?"
or some such.

: Okay, back to the topic! I have a question about LOTM...remember that movie? Okay, when Magua finds the sisters (and certain British soldiers) in the cave, he goes straight for Cora and grabs her hair, and says something (where are the subtitles!) Anyway, does anyone know what is the significance of her hair in this scene, what does it mean to him?
