: : I finally had the opportunity to review and read all the Gathering pictures, posts, etc.   What a fun morning reliving all the moments in beautiful NC and remembering all the warm and good people who attended.  What a unique experience!  I will never stop marveling at the diversity of this group that is brought together by a single interest, and yet out of this one interest we all attend the Gathering for so many different reasons.  And yet it all seemed to fall together and work so beautifully.  Thanks to your hard work, Rich & Elaine, and to everyone else who takes an active part in the organizing and laboring to make the Gathering such a successful affair.  

: : I planned to attend this Gathering thinking it would be a one-time experience; I'd do it once and that would be enough.  Not so now, as long as Rich and Elaine decide to go forth with a 2001 event.  Hope to see you all next year!
