: : Great photos Bill - summed up the fun of the week. Those along with the whole toilet paper incident, the late nights, sleeping bags on the balcony, general juvenile behaviour have led me to describe the weekend to my friends as summer camp for middle aged delinquents!
: : I miss everyone, and like you, can't wait a whole year to do this again! Am still trying to get my web page up and running so that I can share some of my pics with everyone.
: : Anyhoo, good to have you back on the board Billy Gnome - say hi to the lovely Betty from me!

: Adele,
: You were one of my special memories. We enjoyed having you ride with us. You are a delightful person and if you need a smoker's car to ride in next time consider us! Please consider that.
: Besides, I love your accent. We had quite the international crowd this year. Canada. Holland. New Jersey (kidding!). And of course, England and Scotland. Now, if we could only get an Irishman to come along for the next gathering....lessee, who do we know that lives in Ireland? GOT IT! How about that Irish lad Daniel Day Lewis I keep hearing so much about??????

Bless your heart Bill for such nice comments! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your company, and Betty's, on the last day - it was SUCH a pleasure. Being kicked out the car for being a jinx, playing "fire drill", listening to you and Betty argue about winding roads, and seeing your faces when you realised that Marcia had beaten you in the race to CRP - it all just made me feel like part of the family! Lovely! And as for my accent, well, glad you enjoyed it! Dana told me that she has been wandering around saying "fantastic" all the time! Do I really say it that much??!! And one of my roomies told me that you appeared at our cabin on the last day, with the clipped question "Where's the English?" That made me howl - for the rest of the time, I was known as "the English".
As for an Irish gentleman attending next year - do you really think that would be wise? One greeting in that lovely Irish lilt and he would be swamped to death! I can see the headlines now!
Anyway, thanks again for everything
Adele
PS Tell Betty I have both eyes open for a suitable English thimble for her to add to her collection!
