:  Please help!! If you wish to ever be able to go and visit Riverwalk,
: : your help is needed. A developer has bought a 2200 acre tract of land in the middle of Dupont
: State Forest which contains all of the Riverwalk waterfalls, Bridal Viel, High Falls, and Triple
: Falls. If this development is not stoped these falls will never be open to the public for visitiation.
: You can help by voicing your opinion to NC state officials who are concidering using the state

: So you know; last year, while under Sterling ownership, we were granted permission to visit the
: Riverwalk area. Though we had a history on which to be judged this year, & our purpose was
: clearly stated, & our visit would have made pretty good PR, the present owner did not grant
: permission for the Riverwalk. However - I understand Mr. Anthony has claimed public access
: would be granted & has assured the COS the public would continue to have permission to
: access such areas as the waterfalls! Ha! 

: The Friends of the Falls are planning a showing of LOTM in two weeks (in Asheville) as part of
: their awareness campaign. If anyone wishes to join in this fight, please contact Woody or JoJo.
