: Hi All and especially Dana S,

: Walela will be performing at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center, Mashantucket, CT.  This is on the Reservation and will be happening on July 22nd.  Dana, I wasn't sure if you are close to the area, but just in case you are, I am posting the information.

: Laura Satterfield, the niece of Rita Coolidge and part of "Walela", is releasing her first solo album in August.  She is extremely talented and has such a beautiful voice.  Many of you have heard her on the back up songs for "Music from the Native Americans" by Robbie Robertson, as well as on the Walela album.  

: If anyone on the board lives close to the reservation and can attend, I highly recommend seeing them.  So many of their songs are about the Cherokee people, as well as for all of the indigenous people of this land.
