As a collector of all of Cooper's written work, I also focus on any scholarly essays and asides pertaining to Cooper's works by other folks (I can do without Mark Twain's criticism tho'). I am thrilled to hear about the book you mentioned--I will definitely have to add it to my Cooper library. Thanks so much for the info!
