: : Hi, Davenie...as Elaine said, it was I, Claire Voyant, who started this particular story, but I suspect you missed my reply to your post saying it wasn't true.  Now, Dear Davenie, you must understand that here in Mohicanland, the truth is sometimes seen in a peculiar light.  (Translation:  we often tell bald-faced lies just for the fun of it!)  At any rate, I tried to clarify my story of the 55-gallon drum of Nair (translation:  I was sidestepping like a cross-eyed crab!) by letting you know I was "REALLY, SEMITRULY" referring to Colonel Munro's cousin, the infamously entertaining Kentucky-Colonel Urkel "Smooth-Knees" Munro.  Cousin Urkel and his troupe of mimes, mummers, fancy women and dandies are often found hanging around various military camps, trying at every chance to bilk...er...I mean ENTERTAIN...the boys in uniform.  Please accept my humble apologies if I inadvertently cast aspersions on the esteemed Colonel Munro of your acquaintance.  (Translation:  Damn!  I didn't get away with that lie, so I've had to resort to another!)
