: I've read the Soldier description of how hard it was to switch places in the canoe scene, but can somebody please explain to me WHY they would have switched places at all? Thanks.
Hi Ladies,
Glad I am being missed. hahahaha
The story goes that we English didn't know how to control a canoe and we had lost one person when he was shot out of the canoe. He was setting in the middle. And two, we were suppost to be falling behind though we were more in control and ahead of the other canoe at all times. So Uncas was to jump out, swim to ours and take over. HA! Since the one of the best places to control the canoe is from the rear. So I had to give up my position to him and control the canoe from there. It ain't easy. haha and Mama your still the sweetest thing around. smile! Sorry I have been such a stanger, been doing so moving around in the house. It wont be long now. Thanks Rich and Elaine for keeping me in touch with the board. Hope all is well there.
To all the new folks, Howdy Folks!!
See Ya'uns
Eric
