I know this will sound mean, but I would have been tempted to let Duncan fall behind, wayyyyyyy behind!!! If somebody was bound and determined to hang me, after setting me up, I would have ditched them in a minute. But then, I am only a simple person, not the stuff of which heroes and heroines are made, like Hawkeye and Company.
