::Greetings Bruce and thanks for all your searching! BTW, I would like to extend a Happy Birthday to the patron saint of this board, Mr. James Fenimore Cooper--as today would have been his B-day. Just a couple things I wanted to add. I was pretty surprised that the BBC series was so early in the '70s--I figured it was '75 or so. Phillip Madoc and the woman who played Cora both ended up on a couple episodes of Doctor Who also during the '70. I actually have several episodes of the '50s series with Lon Chaney Jr. as Chingachgook--in case any one is losing sleep over not having those--they are quite hideous....Also, the last I heard about DD-L is that he was up for the part as Ichabod Crane in a new version of Legend of Sleepy Hollow being done by Tim Burton. Unfortunately, Johnny Depp got the part. I like Johnny Depp, I just think that DD-L would have made a great Ichabod! I'll go now and leave the board in peace! Penny THE Mohicanite of CO! :)
