I posted the CNN review simply because there had been mention of the book on the Board, and it might have appeal to some folks.  Or some might read the review and decide to forego the exorbitant price of buying it.  Everybody has his/her own tastes.  I do think it is worth noting that there seems to be a whole new public interest in the works of Cooper - movies, books, reviews, the uncountable people who have passed through this website, etc since LOTM came out.  Suddenly James Fenimore Cooper is the author to know!
