Dear Courier Editors,

Allow me to present to you the following statement from Captain Marinus Pottenbakkerszoon:

"I am deeply grieved to see my reputation and that of the Ratelwacht dragged through the mud by the Mohicanland Media. I will, however, not jump to conclusions and for now assume you are misinformed. It would be my pleasure to explain to you in person our peacekeeping principles and strict moral code of conduct. This will have to wait for a few days, however, since I will first hunt down and kill the culprit who leaked this information in the first place."

The Trusty Trading Trio would like to offer you the following statement: "No comment."
