: While covering the recent trade wars and Hawkeye scandals we've run across some odd tracks in Mohicanland.
: Something strange is afoot. There are rumors that these unknown tracks were made by Spaniards who came to Mohicanland seeking
: goods that had been stolen from them.
: While this discovery has us totally perplexed, we are equally confused as to what has happened to all the traders. The Francais Trader is gone ... The Dutch trader is gone .... even E. Lane (who does far more trading than she admits to) is gone. As if that is not complicated enough ... Hawkeye has once again disappeared, probably fleeing from his current female troubles. Ching has not yet been found and runners have brought news that She-etc is pursuing him somewhere along Le Belle Riviere.
: As you might expect, these flaring troubles will have all Courier reporters tied up and thus unable to go to print for at least two nights and a bit.
: If anyone knows the whereabouts of any of these persons, as well as the missing Wampum Sash & Choker, please inform the Courier Editors as soon as possible.
: We thank you for your help in these matters.
: Sincerely,
: The Courier Editors

Mes amis,
It is true that I have been away for some time and a meeting was held with the Dutch trader and E. Lane for many thing have come to pass. I do have most of what I arrived with but have an awful head ache.
My native spies told me of a small Spanish force coming up from the Floridas in search of their missing trade goods. (I must say that I "liberated" all the Spanish goods in my possesion and DID NOT steal them) After my "friends" and I had a brief parley with them, they saw that I was an honest man and gave me the rest of their goods and quickly turned back for Florida.
So, when next you see me, I will have for sale the finest castile soap, muscavado sugar and rare Spanish chocolate all from the tropical islands. They have even promised to send me a shipment of trade silver. We shall see.
