: : So mon cherie my Dutch vixen.  You have been missing me, no?  I have told you before that I am but a shadow in the forest - your musings do not go unheard by me.  It would be to your advantage to invest some time in checking the information of your so called couriers lest you be found following the wrong trader - again.  My wife is not Ottawa but Cherokee and would have much joy in the disruption of your trade business for calling her such.  You see I do not roam the woods of the north, but prefer the warmer climate of the Louisiana territory of New France and can raise a war party of Creek, Choctaw, Caddo, Natchez, and Cherokee warriors with the wave of my hand as easily as starting a cooking fire in the forest.  I am not one to be toyed with.  We can join in this business venture and prosper or become enemies and suffer.  

: : It is true that I had in my possession the trophied wampum choker and sash.  It did not take much silver to acquire them from La Longe Carabine in his drunken stupor.  Have no fear though my efforts were well rewarded after the trade I made at the Cameron cabin.  (Elaine - I have aquired more valuable trade goods.  We must meet again in a week at the cabin!)
