: I had the same problem with Cooper's LOTM!  I would rather read Dr. Zhivago 5 times before I tried to read anything by Cooper again- okay, maybe not!!  Gayle had said yesterday that Cooper has written some wonderful stuff and some very bad stuff, she even has convinced me to try some of his other books.
