: : Unless I've missed it somewhere, I haven't been able to find out anything about the musket(s) used in the film by Eric Schweig. I know Wayne Watson did Killdeer, and Ray Woodall at Centermark made Russell
: : Means weapon (who kept it after the production), but who did Uncas fusil? Vern Crowfoot supplied many of the indian weapons used in the film from his Orlando Fla Studio rental. I am the fortunate owner of one of the "shooting" guns used in the film (a Northwest trade gun with a cross of Lorraine tacked into the stock)
: : Any info wood be apreciated. Also, what is the status of the Killdeer replicas being produced now, when will they be available and for how much? Many thanks,

: I am not sure who made Uncas` musket but I do know it is a "Fusil de Chasse" just like the one Russell used in the movie. I have a Centermark that I use regularly and I can spot them a mile away. They are ( the de Chasse),in my opinion, the best all around musket.
: Haven`t heard anything about any 'Killdeer" replicas. This will be great.
