What a pleasure to have this board to express our loves and hates about the LOTM movie: what we would or would not change about the movie; how we wish things had been filmed; how we loved certain looks and movements from our favorite actors that touched our hearts and souls; how our fantasies were ignited (both male and female); the interest in the history and the people of that era....and now we can share those feelings and ideas with others who have almost the same fanatical fascination for this movie as us. Some of us may not have one other thing in common with each other, except this movie. That is amazing, I think. When my friend, Peggie, and I saw it so many times at the theater, we had no idea there was ANYONE else in the world who felt the same way we did. Our husbands thought we were "over the edge." :o) Neither of us had a computer until last year and imagine our surprise when after all these years, YOU were there just "waiting for us", so to speak! It was like "coming home". Everytime I open the www.Mohican board "book" I get such a feeling of family just reading all the posts you have written since my last viewing. I remember the excitement the first time I rallied enough courage to actually post something I had written! "What an adventure!" I had been reading and getting to know all of you who regularly post for many many months before my first addition to the board, but when I did get the courage, several of you jumped right in there to make me feel right at home and encourage my ideas. So, all you silent ones out there, just jump on in and get your feet wet...you will love it!
