I was really quite surprised to come across this site. I've been a LOTM "freak", since I saw the film in 1993. I'm not really a big movie fan, but when I saw LOTM, I knew then, and now, LOTM is the "best movie" I've ever seen. This film has almost a bizarre fascination for me. I've probably watched it at least 50, maybe 100 times. I think my family feels I'm a little strange. My daughter will say "are you watching that mohicans movie again?" I didn't know you folks had just been to Chimney Rock Park this summer. I dragged my family through the park just a few weeks ago, looking for LOTM film scenes. My daughter would say "where did that lady throw herself off the cliff?", and "where was that mean Indian killed?", etc. Do any of you know where on the internet I can buy the widescreen, THX video of LOTM? I'm tired of looking at the one I taped off of HBO. It's nice to know I'm not the only LOTM "fanatic" out there.
