The last few times I went to the video store, I made a point to bring home a Daniel Day-Lewis movie. So I have seen Age of Innoncence, The Boxer, and In the Name of the Father very recently. Saw Crucible a while back.

Daniel is surely a fine actor. He kind of reminds me of Meryl Streep in the way he can transform himself for the role. I was very impressed with his ability. In the Name of the Father is my favorite of these. I will try to get My Left Foot next time.

Still, none of these performances touched me like his portrayal of Hawkeye. Maybe the great chemistry between him and Stowe was what hooked me. I can see that this is not his most demanding role, as someone else (maybe Marcia) said. But is still affected me more than the others, good as they all were.
