: : Hi, Vita...I expect there is plenty of blood on the BACK of Duncan's head. What we see on the forehead is the entrance wound, after all, and due to the short time it is visible, it probably wouldn't be bleeding yet. I would think the only differences in a bullet wound in 1757 and a bullet wound in 1998 would be those caused by size/caliber of the actual bullet. I could be wrong, not knowing a great deal about guns, either, but I do know that entrance wounds are much smaller, usually, than exit wounds. This is way too gory a conversation for most people, so I think I'll stop here.

: I appreciate the explanation for the appearance of the wound. Not being knowlegeable about guns of any kind, present or past, it helps to get the technical stuff explained.
: Gory? Well, yeah it's gory, but too gory to talk about? I wonder how some of you guys made it though the movie even once. My nature is not so delicate, but I will remember that others are more so than me if I ever have the urge to discuss war wounds. Probably not the best of topics.
: By the by, how is it that Alice, who witnessed all this carnage up close and personal, is often perceived as weak. While some of us find it difficult to even watch the movie without covering our eyes? Just wondering how many of the Alice bashers covered their eyes during the gruesome parts?

Maybe I watch too many horror movies but I thought the movie was very mild LOL...I didn't think it was gory at all...(shrug)...laterz
