Gee, Lyll...that's really a toughie. So many to choose from, don'tcha know! When I think of the film, for me the image that leaps instantly into my mind is Hawkeye, running through the tall grass to rescue Cora. It is probably my favorite single *image* from the movie. But as for a whole scene, there's the infirmary...I love the "I'm looking at YOU, Miss," exchange SO much. It is the pivotal point between the two of them, and as I've always said, Hawkeye & Cora ARE the movie for me, with everyone else being very nice, but secondary. Of course, the longer I ponder this question, the more wonderful scenes pop into my head vying for attention. No...it's impossible to choose, really. My favorite NON-Hawkeye/Cora scene is easier...it's Alice standing on the rocks, and the look she gives Magua as the music is pounding away in the background. A sit-on-the-edge-of-the-seat-and-hold-your-breath moment, for sure, no matter how many times I see it.

Other than those particular scenes, I only like every single other scene in the movie! Does that help??
