Hawkeye's Proposal

Ann -
I just zipped to the back pages and scanned The Proposal.

"Will you be my wife?"
"Yes."

Now there's drama for you! I think Mann was wise to leave it be. Actually, Cooper did a better job on Hawkeye's proposals, but Cooper's Hawkeye freaked out rather disproportionately when he got rejected. There's got to be a middle ground somewhere!
