Yes, Wolfie. The actor who played Magua did a stupendous job....evil personified!!..However, he managed to gain my sympathy after hearing his life story. Earlier someone compared Magua's bitter reaction to the tragedy he experienced at the hands of the English(& other native tribes) to the more long-suffering, turn-the-other-cheek attitude of Ching...(sp?).
Nonetheless, I wonder how many of us would have had the "saintly" attitude of the Mohican rather than the revengeful one of Magua??

Before LOTM, I'd never seen or heard of the actor who played Magua. Can you give me titles of his other performances?

As far as making DDL look wimpy......come on now, you really don't expect us to think a guy who stays on at a frontier fort being bombarded, with little hope of survival, because his reason for staying......"is right here"(sigh:o)...as wimpy, do you?.....ann(maybe only a woman would understand:-D)
