: : : : : : : : : : Hi, JC...as Caitlin mentioned, the THX version IS the wide-screen version, but there's MORE! It also has better sound, and a couple of nice goodies in the package...1) a featurette on The Making of the Last of the Mohicans and 2) the theatrical trailer.  My advice??  Get it!  It's great!
