: I think Ching..itch...cook  spoke in his native tongue in front of strangers and only spoke English around people he was comfortable around. i have known foreign people who have done this. i dont know if its a defense mechanism or what. i'm sure thats not what they were thinking of when they did the movie but thats how i always took it.
