: : : Hi! I believe that the blue coat is really a blue or black vest that goes under the red coat.  About the line up in the conoes, on the start one contains Hawkeye, Uncas, Alice, Soldier 1 or 2, Cora and Chingachgook. The other contains Duncan and Soldier 1 or 2.  Then further out on the lake. Hawkeye's conoe moves ahead of Duncan's and thats when Uncas dives off the Hawkeye's conoe and gets into Duncan's conoe.  Shirl
