Kiss scene

Soldier #2: Re your remarks about the "kiss" & Madeleine, Daniel--maybe they were practicing the movie kiss. Granted it's unromantic but a cinema kiss scene is rehearsed same as all others , isn't it?

My impression of the scene was that she was definitely in charge. Being an Irish lad(movie star or not) he might have felt a little awkward during this particular shot. Did you notice most of the chosen takes for the love scene were of her face.

I believe her all-american woman "go for it" attitude might've been a bit overwhelming for Daniel during the kiss. Just makes him more charming in my opinion though.

By the way, how do I identify you in the film? Would you please describe your location in one of the scenes.
