Tom, it is amazing to me how we all perceive things differently & have our own very specific opinions about this film. For me, I wait every time for Chingachgook's foot to step down on the rock as they climb out of the river...this is the exact moment that Clannad begins to sing "I Will Find You." I have always thought it was so utterly perfect for that moment. I've never seen the movie in a theater, so there you have me, but I have watched it with quite a few people at a sitting, and no one ever seemed to dislike this part of the soundtrack. I guess, once again, that this is why they have chocolate, strawberry & vanilla in the ice cream freezer...there's something for everybody that way, because it's a sure thing we will each like something different.
