Oh, sigh. It always makes me so sad. In a way I felt it was more realistic that the fight didn't last longer. I was sort of glad they didn't make it too schmaltzy. You can see in his eyes, after Magua gets in that very first slash, that it's over, and he knows it, and so does Alice, but he continues to give it his all, being the beautiful warrior he is.
