Hi, Gretchen...nah, you're not outnumbered. We're just all trying to imagine what was going on, and we all picture it differently. I imagined the glade as a clearing on the top of a rise. It looks kind of like there are trees around the perimeter, and it always looks to me as though the Ottawa (with their deux Francais) are climbing that hill through the trees, but turn back before they get real close to the top. If you picture it this way, it works. With a different image in your mind, maybe not. Since we weren't shown a wide angle view of the site, I guess it does leave a lot to the imagination. At any rate, it's interesting to me to see how each of us has a different perspective about what's going on.
