Myrrh...I have always thought he was crying throughout that scene, even before Cora steps up beside him. He seems to be choking back tears before and during Chingachgook's prayer, and not always succeeding.

While I would like to know what else they spoke of during the scene, I am glad they left it like they did in the final cut. I like the fact that we don't have to hear words to see that they have settled their future together at that point.
