Okay, forgive me, but I am an enthusiastic but uneducated fan of LOTM who is wondering exactly what weapon Chingachgook is carrying during the movie, especially when he thrashes Magua at the end. It looks at times like a big ax, a sword, the end of a musket . . . I've watched several times and still can't figure it. Please help! I'm wondering and don't know where to find out. Thanks.
