: : : Sorry about the delay in answering; War Party is a 1989 movie about the reenactment of a battle between the Blackfoot Indian Tribe and the US Calvery; the time is the "present" now adays; the "young ones" get together for this reeactment; however; one of the "white young ones" actually loads his gun to make a real battle instead of a reenactment.

: : : I saw it so long ago; it started out very interesting; with the Indian youth on the reservation, dealing with current problems, getting ready for this reenactment and thier feelings about it, etc. (This is where I thought Tantoo is the mom of one of the youths)but as the movie unfolds; what was a very interesting idea becomes a rather pathetic cowboys and Indians stuff.

: : Well, I had no pain in my toes, but my ankle gave me a lot of trouble. Apparently I had sprained it as well and due to the trauma it became VERY immobile...How is your ankle? ( I hope I didn't get you mixed up with somebody else....)And how  are the rest of our wounded?

: No, if you check out some of the gathering pictures, that's me in my moon boot.  My sprained ankle is much better, finally, just the toes/heel now and then hurt; and every morning when I get up I am reminded that I definately have an ankle!  Hiking was a bit of a pain; probably would have healed sooner if I hadn't done so much; but no way was I going to miss the Gathering; even if the doc said it was iffy to do it....I guess I'll just blame later troubles on LOTM!!!!!
: Marcia's wrist is better; I'm assuming DAR is fully recovered from her Alice dive; Patty said something about a hurt ankle also; but she's busy with fires.
