Hi, everyone!

I've already posted a couple of messages here, and being an Internet newbie (just got on line a couple of days ago), I didn't realize that it's good form to introduce yourself first. Or is that only for chat rooms? (I've been reading one of those "Internet for Dummies" books. I think I need "Internet for People Whom Dummies Feel Intellectually Superior To and for Good Cause"). Anyway- I moved to Maine from Buffalo, NY about two years ago, I'm a colonial history buff, my favorite film is...uh, never mind. I despise James Fenimore Cooper (I won't get into a discussion about that. I'll just refer dissenters to Mark Twain's "Fenimore Cooper's Literary Offenses", which is LOL funny). I have a pretty good knowledge of the weaponry of the era, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for those sorts of questions. I bear a striking resemblance to Daniel Day-Lewis (insofar as I have a torso, four limbs and a head). I'm half Italian, which makes me loquacious (didja notice?), opinionated, and abrupt, but my wife claims I have just enough Mediterranean charm to compensate. As far as my LOTM bona fides go, I'm a dilettante compared to this group- two theatre viewings, eight viewings of my own cassette, and one movie poster. I've got some catching up to do.

I'll try to check out the old postings as often as I can so I don't tread over too much old ground.

A few months ago I caught the opening credits for an old "Barnaby Jones" while channel surfing. "Guest starring - - Ed Harris - - Madeleine Stowe - and ."

I won't bookmark this site, because no matter what happens, I WILL FIND YOU! See ya!
