Hey, that was interesting, so don't you think about deleting anything, next time you ramble!
I rented "Geronimo" several weeks ago and had it mixed up with what must have been a series about Geronimo's life, including his youth. So, I was waiting for some flashbacks all the time that never came. Has anyone seen the series?
Anyway, I thought the movie was pretty good, although it might have been better had it shown everything from Geronimo's perspective instead of the young officer's. Also, I found it interesting to see Al Siebert portrayed in there, who must have been quite a legend in Arizona's history. I have just read about him recently in several publications, one of them a small booklet called "The Yavapai". There is also a wonderful webpage about AZ history with a page on Siebert, I'll put the link below. It's the homepage of a man from Globe, a small town in East central AZ, where Siebert spent the last years of his life (he didn't die in the bar, as in the movie).
Oh, and for the connection to LOTM: Wes Study was impressive as always in "Geronimo".
