Hi Marcia,

Tantoo has done a few contemporary flicks such as Silence ( with August Schellenberg filmed around Vancouver),Lakota Woman, Sioux City, Spirit Rider ( with Adam Beach and Gordon Tootoosis) and she was a recurring character on the TV series North of 60.As well you can catch a glimpse of her in "Running Brave".Her last name back then was Martin.
