Follow the River is a Hallmark made-for-tv film from 1994 or 95. It can be rented. It's based on a historical novel by James Alexander Thom. It's about a woman in 177? who gets abducted by Shawnee warriors (along with her sister and son). I had to ask a local rental place to purchase it, which they were happy to do, and then I rented it.

I tracked down Eric's agent's email address and contacted them that way. Did my homework!
