the BIG screening of the movie

Well, it's been a week now; and in my time zone, at this time last week we sat down for our second time to view the movie (thanks to Jay and Sherry and all for holding the start for us!)...after sitting a second time through those old tailers, it started..and what a time to try to scan, watch every corner of the screen, watch the main action, and in my case, field questions from my sisters who'd only seen it once, what a viewing!!!
Did anyone see anything DIFFERENT from their "home" vidoes??? I was a bit taken back to hear the drums at the beginning while having to watch the FOX logo; my video has a black screen at this point; but some of the other differences I noticed was, although I never did see the red hat at the beginning, I saw the top of the Trailway buses with no problem; they have been edited out of my video version. Also, during the great scene when Hawkeye rescues Cora from certain death in the "massacre valley"; after Chingachgook lifts Alice off the ground...Uncas is shown shooting at yet another enemy; this shot is not in my VHS video...Uncas is just sort of waiting for everyone to follow him down to the lake on my video.
Anyone else see any other differences?
I guess I'll just have to view the big screen version again. Darn.
