Director's Cut

I totally agree with the idea of seeing a director's cut. That would help "fill in a few blanks" like the fort arrival. I can't help but wonder how many other scenes may have been cut, such as Duncan's diversion for the courier that was added back in for the network broadcast. If we were to contact Fox, we should copy Michael Mann - I think he would be rather flattered, given the painstaking effort he made researching, writing, directing and producing this film - without a doubt one of the best historical action/adventure/romance films of all time!
