My other favorites, besides Mohicans, include Braveheart, The English Patient, Out of Africa, The Piano, Dances With Wolves, and Immortal Beloved. These are soundtracks that always bring me pleasure, and I find I have one or the other of them playing almost constantly when I'm at work in my studio. A friend told me once that movie scores are today's classical music. I don't know about that, as I also love MANY classical pieces, but I sure love my soundtracks! Just the opening bars from most of them bring images from the films to fill up my imagination immediately.
