: I must have missed something . I see no evidence ANYWHERE in the movie that shows Alice's affection towards Uncas. It is all his towards her, but nothing on her part. Yes, she does show a little emotion when he is under the knife of Magua, but nothing more then a bit. And as for her swan dive, was it because Uncas was killed? Or was it because she just could not take any more, and did not want to be in the hands of Magua?
:: As for the gathering, I won't be making it. I have my hopes set for next year, come HELL or high water. I want to wish you all a safe trip, and please, all of you ,have enough fun for those of us who can't make it this year.And I think if there is naked dancing around the campfire, the men also haveto participate.
