Academy Snub

The Mohicans Musings make reference to Mohicans being more or less ignored by the Academy and I whole-heartedly agree. At the very least, the film should have been nominated for score and cinemetography. I think Stowe especially got ripped off - Mohicans is her best performance. Just watch her face during the ambush and when Magua captures the sisters under the fall. She is also great in the surgery scene and she pretty much carries the love scene. Mann deserves some credit for directing that massive battle scene during the massacre.

Okay, I'll get off my soapbox. Any thoughts??
