: Dear Elaine,
: I was puzzled that the announcement for the reformation of the Seditious Wives Club was not included in this weekend's Courier. No doubt it will make it in the next edition. I was also happy to hear that membership qualifications have been expanded to 'non-wives' so as to not exclude the ever loyal and decorous Camp Followers. I think your idea of meeting to support the 'Frontier Effort' is a clever one. I expect it will take the guys a while before they figure out why they aren't seeing many socks, mittens or moccasins as a result of all our industrious efforts.
: See you around camp,

Victoria,
I apologize for omitting the "Seditious Wives Club" reformation announcement in this week's Courier. I hesitate to explain why it was not printed, but since you have called attention to the glaring omission, I owe you the truth. Though I was hard pressed to meet my deadline, I actually did get the announcement into the "Local Happenings" section. But .... Rich apparently found it offensive or controversial or not in his best interest because by the time the Courier went to press, it was gone! I confronted him about his excessive deleting habits and chided him for sabotaging our freedoms. I apologize for his despicable actions and will watch him more carefully in the future.
It turned out for the best, however. As you pointed out, we are not an exclusive club for women in bondage. We accept unmarried females too. We are especially pleased to welcome all camp followers into the fold. Our "Frontier Efforts" ought to shake up the border settlements and wreak havoc in the wilderness.
The announcement, along with an intense membership drive, will be in next week's edition of the Courier. Rich wouldn't dare interfere now that he's been publicly shamed.
Thank you for raising this important Freedom Fighting Frontier Female Forum issue.
Sincerely,
Elaine
