: ...is that they aren't an "either/or" proposition.  We can love as MANY of them as we want!  Yippee!  And while some may move us more than others, and some we might not like at all, we can have a "Favorites" list as long as we want.  I love so many films of so many types, it really would be impossible for me to say for sure which is the Number One Movie in my book.  I just don't know how to compare The Last of the Mohicans to The Wizard of Oz, for example.  They are the two movies I've watched the most times in my life, and I'd sure hate to have to choose one for the Numero Uno Slot.  I just plain love the art of film, and I hope as the years go by, my list of favorites just keeps on growing.  I'd like to think there will be more and more and more really good movies coming along for me to fall in love with...wouldn't you?  More loin-clothed heroes hacking their way through the wilderness, more swashes being buckled on the deep blue sea, more cracks in the sidewalk being avoided by hilariously obsessive romance writers, more lovely animated Bambi-lashed critters singing in the forest, more, more, MORE!!...that's all I want...is that so much to ask?? *grin*
