I love Wes too. He's a great actor and there's a rugged handsomeness about him. I do recall seeing him in the movie Heat. And he was also in The Broken Chain and Geronimo, ect.
I never thought of him as a bad guy in LOTM, but I hated when he killed Uncas. They should have had him spare his life since he had already kicked his butt. But that's just my wishful thinking.
