The Book..... Did Joy ever read it?

It's been about three months since Joy posted wondering whether or not she should read "The Last of the Mohicans". I, being a Cooperphile,
certainly hope she did. But many Cooperphobics recommended against it. Joy, if you're still out there..... did you read it? And if so, did you hate it or like it?

A question; is there any particular scene from the movie that someone didn't like? Or is this a perfect film?
