I think Stowe proved in LOTM and Closetland that she can give an emotional, intense and believable performance. (Closetland is "out there" but I thought she was brilliant.) Unfortunately, she has a penchant for picking bad films. Many of which she trashes in interviews after the fact - she hated Revenge and China Moon and I have to agree - they were pretty bad flicks.
