Yes, I've read Francis Parkman (Montcalm and Wolf: The French & Indian War). Though I know he is criticized severely by many, I
find his books to be very interesting, and I like his style! His *facts* are sometimes in error, so cross checking is a good idea. By and large, he offers a very good read on the F & I War.

And differing opinions have come into vogue here lately!!! :)
