Good point Neuromancer, and I would have to agree with you. The implied promiscuity or insensibility would not belong to her anyway, but to the script writers, producers and directors. Perhaps she made poor choices here and there as to accepting scripts....but then the same could be said of several of what i consider great actors....Vincent Price, Boris Karlof, Lon Chaney.
Not only did they accept poor scripts in order to keep working,
the successful ones they accepted "typed" them and they never were able to escape that genre of film again!!! Good actors though. In my opinion.
